A 2014 study of rape statistic by the BJS found that 63% of reported rape against females aged 13 to 24 are done by white males, 19% by black males, 10% are done by another race, and 8% are unknown . The study used data from 1995-2013 and show that rape our independent of race.
An study shows one in nine girls and 1 in 53 boys under the age of 18 experience sexual abuse more likely than the general population to be a victim of rape.
I have a friend her name will be Maya, she goes to E.L. Haynes high school. I interview Maya and she told me her story what happened to her when she was younger. Maya was around the age of 15 she just came home from school and her uncle was in the house and he was passed out on the couch drunk. Maya went in her room and started her homework. Maya Mother wasn’t home. Maya was sitting on her bed watching cartoons when she heard someone walking up the steps. Maya only had on shorts and a sports bra when her uncle busted open her room door, her uncle was only 21 years old and he was high and drunk. He sat on Maya’s bed and was all rubbing Maya leg. Maya doesn’t feel comfortable so she says get out leave me alone. So her uncle started kissing on Maya and feeling on her sexual so she start crying and screaming. Maya screams and screams but no one hears her and her uncle rapes her and she didn’t know how to tell her parents and her uncles rapes her.
In the United States it been an average of 321,500 victims that been rape between the age of 10-19. The rape and sexual assault grew 75% higher since the 90’s.
